In past few months there hasn’t been a weekend I would travel somewhere. Last weekend wasn’t an exception. Friday after work me and my friends from Slovakia, Spain and USA left to visit even more friends in Prague and visit places I haven’t seen before.
I have seen lot of typical tourist places in Prague but I have never been to park Letná. It is a regular park, but what makes it such a great place is its views… View of the old town and Charles bridge is amazing and even more when you enjoy the day with your closest friends in great weather drinking some beers and talking about life while listening all the skaters riding in the background. Definitely a place to visit while in Prague.
In the evening a reservation in authentic Mexican restaurant called Las Adelitas was awaiting us. Restaurant really had a Mexican feel, staff was Mexican and food pretty authentic. Since we got an American with Mexican roots on board all was much easier to understand and know what to order. Staff from restaurant was also very friendly and helpful. I was very satisfied with my order. Parilladas de pollo, consisting of chicken stripes, beans, guacamole and 6 pieces of wheat tortillas. All the food was very delicious with great presentation.
We started with park we finish with park. To see quite a different park than others, my friend Babco took us to visit Havličkovy sady. It is an English style park with small palace, villa, pond, wine yards and also some nice views of the city located in Prague 2. Park was very clean and offers something unique to all age groups.
Once again we spent another ordinary weekend visiting some unordinary places with great company of friends.
