Sidra, fun to drink with a strange taste in a beautiful nature.

Sidra(Cider) is a typical alcoholic drink from Asturias made from apples. Contains around 6% of alcohol and tastes like a sour apple. It is typical to pour it to the cup like a waterfall from some height since it is better to drink it this way. The thing is that if you pour it just from the bottle the sediments would gather on the bottom of the cup, at least that is what I have been told.

Thats how you pour Sidra
Thats how you pour Sidra

So because of this a typical Sidra drink comes in a bottle with an extra instrument to help you to pour it to the cup from some height. I have never seen such thing in my life, which on one hand was very handy to help you to pour it to the cup on the other hand we would spill some Sidra every round we poured ourselves a drink.

I am not gonna lie to you so I better say the truth that I didn’t like it that much. The thing I liked was the presentation and fun we had while drinking….
